Rank Admin

Post by TechGeek on June 6th 2011, 4:05 pm

I created a new group under rank admin and assigned an image. I required at least 25 post and made it auto subscribe. When a member reaches the minimum post the rank is auto assigned but, the rank image does not appear for the given user. I am having to manually adjust their profile for the image to show yet the member's id does auto appear in the group. Any ideas?

did the member reach 25 post yet? it wont appear until they reach the amount of post,

Other then that are you getting a red x to appear as the image? if so it means you have to add a direct image link for the rank image you are adding.

Or are you using a rank image forumotion provides there?

Thanks for the reply.

1. Yes, the members have reached the minimum post.

2. There is not a red x. Nothing appears.

3. I am using forumotion's default rank image.

Okay, let's get one thing clear here: groups and ranks are not related to each other in any way. Auto-subscribe groups are completely different to post requirement ranks. If you want someone to be in auto-subscribe group and have a post requirement rank at the same time, you need to make sure that both have the same post requirement.

If you are correct then can you explain why when I access Rank Administration it shows the groups I have created using Group Administration?
