Where does the guest message appear?

Can somebody tell me where this appears and just what the function of it is?

Most likely as a pop up or at the top of the forum

Hm, okay but is it possible for it to appear for guests only?

Darren tried the tutorial yesterday, it is suppose to appear for guests only, below header or under navigations I think.

Sorry about the delay, I've been interstate for a little while - I assume it's still occurring.

There has quite a small change in the coding, it is not necessary to add the user logged out script, I'm sending an amendment through now.
Here's the new instructions.

Locate the code line: <!-- END switch_user_logged_out --> (Should see it pretty much straight away) you should also see this code: <!-- END switch_user_logged_out -->
In the line above the 2nd code, insert your text there and viola it should work again and anyone will be able to tell if it changes again
