In progress Can't change anything!

Post by MoonLight17 on June 7th 2011, 8:12 am

In admi mode I can't change any of the colors.
I go under pictures and colors then click colors. I understand how to change it but I click save and preview and nothing is different.
In fact I just notice I can't edit ANYTHING! Can't add names to forums or create them nothing I do is saved.

Hi, so you're basically saying that you can't edit a single thing at all? Not even the configuration of your forum? Not even the name of your forum? How about adding new forums?

I had to change the theme, so I can change the colors now, but I still can't add categories or forums. It says I did but won't show up.
Nope now its the opposite I can't change the colors but I can add the rest.

Hi,

Have you changed anything since it started working?

Have you tried another computer, or browser by another chance?

Please avoid posting consecutively unless separated by 24 hours since the last post. In future, use the edit button. Wink

Have you tried:

=> Clearing your cache: http://help.forumotion.com/t22597-how-to-clear-the-cache-in-firefox-internet-explore-chrome
=> Using a different browser

I tried both of those and nothing.
The colors that I picked still show up in the colors edit page, it doesn't reset them they just don't show up on the actual site.

Then, have you tried resynchronising your forum: http://help.forumotion.com/t50777-resynchronizing-your-forum ?

No, colors for the display of the forum.

Please avoid posting consecutively unless separated by 24 hours since the last post. This is your 2nd reminder about this. In future, use the edit button. Wink

It won't delete anything, it simply 'refreshes' the forum.

Possibly, maybe it's only possible to change the colours on your forum through CSS. What theme are you using?
