Double Colon?

Post by Mike on June 8th 2011, 12:37 am

For all of my forums it shows a double colon instead of a single... Is this normal? and can I make it one?

Where are you seeing this exactly? A screenshot would help, and I've been to your forum and I don't see any double colons.

The double-colon is the navstrip separator for phpBB3. If you want to change it, you'll need to use javascript. Something of the form:

Code:
$('.pathname-box').each(function() {
        $(this)[0].innerHTML = $(this)[0].innerHTML.replace(/\:\:/g,':');
});
This will change the double-colon to a single colon on post pages. For topics pages, you need ".path" instead of ".pathname-box".

Enough bumping, and I'm not exactly sure how to remove the double colons, myself.

I am replying to tell you that I get them on my boards, as well. Do you just not like the look of it?
