User Control Panel Empty User Control Panel

Post by Syndicate June 9th 2011, 3:26 am

Hello All

In a lot of phpbb3 forums, the UCP is a lot different then it is in here. The thing im looking for is something called " edit display options " in preference. Is it possible that i can somehow get that panel in forumotion ? Reason i want that is because there is the option there which allow u to hide others signatures.

i got this from phpbb boards. This is the example im looking for

User Control Panel UCP_NoSignature-2

If its not then please can you tell me if its possible to hide the signature ( others signature ) at your own will ? for example an option of " hide signatures "

thanks, and sorry if i posted it in the wrong section.

Hi,

If you wish to display signatures for certain people, the best way to do it is

1) Admin panel >> Users & Groups > Groups administration > Create group, name it "Signatures allowed" & Save.
2) Admin panel >> Users & Groups > user Options > Allow Signatures = Groups.
3) Allowed groups: Administrator's & Signatures Allowed.
4) Not allowed: Everyone else.
5) Now save

Hope this is what your after Smile
