DesignDrops now have its own domain name! " http://www.designdrops.net/ " many thanks for LH Justin & Kryptonian for purchasing it for DD Smile

& now we have a fully working Like system with likes counts Wink
& thanks for Saxaca for helping me with a PART of it Very Happy.

I would say you shall register and GET free PSD files & inspiration for making better graphics!

Long time no updates was written here, but now there is a lot of updates & new features was added in designdrops.


First of all, we now have a simple, clean & unique theme/design, it took me a lot of my free time to make as its now.

Its actually now done yet, I'm working on it every day to make it even more better.

From now on, you can browse all drops or only the popular drops by clicking "Everyone" & "Popular" tabs in the homepage, i used jQuery tabs and loading the drops from their page to the index so you don't need to wait for the page to load when you click on one of the tags, and in the right side of the tabs, there is a button for posting a new drop, it also has the same effect like above.

New status icons added, "New", "Free" & "Popular". From now on users can post their drops and choose if they want to share it with the others, like downloading files or anything, and there will be a "Free" icon on each free resource you post. (Only if you choose the icon while posting!)

Popular, when your drops hit 10 comments it will have a popular icon and will be moved to the popular tab (page), maybe in the future 10 will be 25 comments Razz.

Before there wasn't a private messages in DD, but now there is, but I'm still working on it.

In some days, designdrops will have a blog where we can post updates & new features, maybe choose and post the best drops, make interviews with some droppers.

Actually, I also added the search function, because i think it will be useful when we get many drops, the results are displayed nicely and clean.

I think that's enough for today, all what i want from you is to visit designdrops, join & you will have fun!.. you will learn how to make better graphic!

Your board is very professional and has nice, clean colors Wink

It's rather hard to navigate at first though, and I haven't found the topics yet, but at a quick glance, the design is very successful

Perhaps you should force redirection to your personalized domain name? Go to General tab >> Forum Address to do this

DESIGNDROPS LATEST NEWS & UPDATES

Hello all, today I have some news for you.

#1: Hello everyone, from now on if you want to post a drop please make sure that your image dimensions (size: width x height) is 600 x 502 dimensions in pixels, if not it will be removed! Thanks.

#2: Finally, designdrops got its own twitter account, so follow it and get the latest news & updates there! @d_dupdates

#3: & we also got a new logo, that maybe match the site theme.

#4: Here we've got a new member list design/style, more info: click here.

#5: & here is some graphic give away for you, members!. Gram them!
