What happened to a litigation I sent?
Hello everybody!
A month ago, I sent a litigation to a forum that copied mine.
But no one ever told me what happened to that litigation.
I mean, did the Staff check the issue? Or is there a list-topic
where we could see which litigations are checked and which not?
Also, I want to know if a litigation could prevent a forum to be deleted.
Or If litigations affect forums points.
Thanks in advance.

All litigations are checked. If nothing substantial is found to take action against the forum, they are not deleted nor any action is taken.

Yes, but, since all litigations are checked, what are the results?
Will the forum be deleted, or lose activity points, or just be informed?

As i said, if the forums breaks the TOS, it can be deleted & necessary action is taken. If the team does not feel, that the forum breaks the TOS in anyway. They won't take any action.
If they feel its necessary to give them an opportunity to remove some content, they will inform that forum.
No way for you to know, what happened to your litigation. If after a month or so, no action is taken on the forum. Then forumotion has decided that forum is not disrespecting any TOS & can continue.
Hope that clears everything.

It clears everything. It's ok!
But I have to inform you for something but i believe is a waste not to post it here and make a new topic.
In Haryland(Potter's Academy) forum, a user called Kos K pretended to be Typlo and he informed HarryLand(Potters Academy) that the forum will be checked. I think that this breaks the Terms.
The link of the thread created at Harryland(Potters Academy) is here.
I'm just telling it to you because i think no one did.
Thanks for all!

Hi,
Also, if a forum were to be informed of a possible ban, they would get a notice in the index page of the admin panel - there is no need for a member of staff to post that info, they never have and never will, they have access to everything in your forum, even the admin panel, which they access through the founding account and pop the notice there, and once necessary take any action, or place a caution.
The litigation's don't affect any points.

Ok, thank you so much!
One more thing and then you can close the topic.

If it is severely breaking the ToS, it is deleted.
Slightly, it is given some time to correct the problem:
if not fix, it is deleted.
If it is not breaking the ToS, there will be no action taken.
