Re: my forum is running very slow
loads split second fast for me as well. Try clearing your cache/history and then do a complete shut down on your computer.

I had this same problem recently...................
Are you running Windows7 by any chance? Both my systems were behaving like this when windows7 SP1 was installed, carried out a reformat and clean installation then switched off auto updates (refusing to install SP1) and both my machines have been A-OK ever since, might just be coincidence I'm not sure? The reason I think it could be associated with SP1 is I reformatted my systems 2-3 times before thinking there was a connection with SP1, as soon as I disabled updates so SP1 couldn't install my problems went away?
The other thing that was mentioned here recently was some of servers where forumotion forums are hosted have been having issues, never really got to the bottom of this as the threads keep getting locked or closed as solved Sanket replied saying it was now fixed but gave no explanation?
Anyway if you are going through the same kind of thing I was then I really feel for you as I was tearing my hair out!
I'm not sure if it's down to SP1 or Forumotion but for me it was definitely one or the other, not my ISP as everyone here kept saying
