Background not loading correctly
Can not replace the graphics that were sent to me, the top is off center, showing old header and footer.
Also it greatly enlarged the width of pages.
I have worked alot over the years this web pages and stuff but this,,,,I am totally at a loss after over an hour just trying to change to the new graphics that were make for me.....

As you can see, it is off center, not covering, What is so simple that I am missing to do here?

Re: Background not loading correctly
***Sorry for the edits am trying to give info to expedite support from you all. I know has been a while but still...I know it is something to simple that I am over looking! --- see what 3 strokes can do to you
OK have banner fixed but now, the image for the background, (that was told to put in footer, that can not find ) is tiled across the page, the back of the nav bar is blue now, and other spots on page, still digging through FAQ's and not finding answers. At this for hours now I have used your boards many times for people over the years setting them up and have never had such a time like this LOL. **bang head on keyboard**[img][/img]

Re: Background not loading correctly
I think you probably have CSS, and even if you change the image, the CSS covers it up.
When it happens to me, I either completely erase the CSS and replace it with my own, or just get rid of the images.
What is the name of the skin you are using?

Re: Background not loading correctly
The skin is called New Moon Ballan by Daisy FTW
would like to get it back to this size arrangement.
I am not familiar with CSS, I do know a little HTML and STILL have my huge book of codes if that is what is needed. ALOT has changed but, I know it is something silly and simple that my stroked out brain is not remembering

Re: Background not loading correctly
To fix the sizing and all that, I believe the fastest way would be to reinstall the skin and place your banner again.
If we go to Display > Colors > CSS Stylesheet, it appears that we do have CSS, which is probably why you aren't able to replace images.
To change background:
And it appears that when you go to Pics Management, it is blank, so it will work if you erase all CSS and upload the images in Pics Management.

- Code:
body{
background: #3d4828 url(http://i60.servimg.com/u/f60/14/80/61/54/layer_22.jpg) no-repeat top center;
padding-top: 265px;}

Re: Background not loading correctly
This image was to go at the bottom of the page, as in the original skin.
the creator of the new images said to put the bottom in the footer to get rid of the old text that is on the site.
You can see where the Forum is on the far right it still has the "New Moon Balken" typed on it.
still digging through forums and faq's and can't find the solution to putting this in to cover/take all that out.

Re: Background not loading correctly
Hi,
Just saw this topic. It's actually a skin done for a forum I used to visit.
You are searching how to remove the "New Moon Balkan" written?
It's a whole photo, you have to also replace it with yours or put only color there =>
Find this CSS part and remove/replace the link
When you do it, will continue, O.K.?

Re: Background not loading correctly
Thanks Nera! got that bar taken care of , not a big deal of color only.
On the lower part of the page i would think, behind the 'who's online and all that is where they suggested I put the 'footer image'. Will this 'stretch with page height increasing?
Thank you for all the help in advance Nera!
((been away from this so long feel like such a noob-let ROFL. Man have I get some mind retraining to do with coding lol THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING HERE! lol
((TY you also Kyfe!))

Re: Background not loading correctly
Hi,
This is to add your image to your footer. Find this in your CSS and add it like I did.
You have two green colors that don't fit nice. Find these parts in CSS and make them transparent like I did here.
The middle is left. Find your wrap and REPLACE It with mine.
There you go, you have your photos.
To fix your width add this
You havent fixed forabg like I told you. You added mine. You should have only removed link.
See what you will gett after doing this all => http://i.imm.io/6pGc.png

Re: Background not loading correctly

It is the same coding as blogs, I recognize it all! but this one, idk, I guess to long gone from all this. Man do I hav it jacked up replacing stuff! It is TOTALLY messed up now Nera.
Re: Background not loading correctly
It's really not a problem, see, I've finished it in a minute, though you took the wrong skin to do since CSS has errors.
Edit: link removed
I'll send you the whole CSS via PM if you want.
