Post by davidl on June 15th 2011, 1:28 am

my site has been hacked into by someone, i tried to log in to admin and i couldnt log in so i clicked lost password and it told me the "send password to admin and mods" had been disallowed, i got one of my admins to go into the admin panel and clcik yes so i could have my password reset and now im back on site......what can i do to lock these hackers out besides now clicking the disalow new password to be sent out ?

what does Confirm password to administration access : "yes" or "no" mean ?

Confirm password is that you need to confirm it to log into the admin panel after logging in.

If your site is hacked you can always use: http://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/ to back it up. change all your staff passwords and turn confirm password for more security.
