can i bring my website to another host

i have a website with free forums. i have paid for a .com and host company. can i bring my website to that host?

You can only bring the domain over. No database carry over.

You could always move just the site and keep the forum where it is, then use an iframe or just link the forum from the site and vice-versa

When I click on that link I get an error
"Sorry, but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum."

How do you get special access? I have not bought a domain from you but have several domains and a hosting account with another supplier. I had no idea there would be a problem transferring my forums contents to another host, should I choose, once it was established.

Why has forumotion decided to prevent the extraction and relocation of user data and forum threads for use on a different host? The software belongs to you, certainly, but the data belongs to me - I saw nothing in your terms and conditions to say otherwise?? I would be grateful for an explanation.
