Solved Cancel Domain Name

Post by Rilee June 19th 2011, 11:04 pm

I had credits for a free domain name. I clicked on it thinking I was setting up a new forum. How do I go about canceling it? I want to keep my original name with the existing forum.

Thanks

You know that you won't be getting your credits back when you cancel it right?

Misc tab // Domain // Should be a delete buttion

I scrolled to Domain and clicked on modify and this is what I get -

Order in process !
At anytime you can delete your personalized domain name and retrieve your default domain name : http://*******.com ( removed forum name with *'s )
For the moment you can't renew your personalized domain name....

There is no delete button

That means it's processing. It takes up to 5 days for all ISP's to register the new domain. So it may not be there for a while.
