Solved My background images refuse to center

Post by Slater Sat Jun 25 2011, 01:13

I've been attempting to Use a custom made background image for my forum, but the image always refuses to center itself(i've resorted to using just a black solid black background until i can find a solution to the problem). the picture is either shows up far to large and cuts off the majority of the picture, or it appears off center and is tiled. i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong as i'm never presented with an option of centering or tiling, only the resizing option.

can anyone possibly help explain to me what might be going wrong.

thank you in advance.

im not sure i understand what you mean.
do you mean a bigger picture? because the picture itself is already large. if i try to use a smaller version, it just uploads it as a tile setting.

Try this code in CSS Stylesheet.

Code:
body {
background-position: top center;
background-color: #cccccc;
background-image: url('IMG URL here');
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;
color: #333333;
font-size: 12px;
font-family: Arial,Verdana,Helvetica,sans-serif;
}
