Need Help On The Admin Panel

i want to do a big update how do i make the site go down so no one can log in
only me

Administration Panel>>General>>Forum>>Configuration

Two options:
Forum in construction :
Forum on holiday :

No just the actual forums, people can still log in and view the sidebars and banner etc.

You use this topic title every topic you make, you should try making it more specific to your problem

Also, if you have a little play around with everything in the administration panel, you will find a lot of stuff and learn what it all does, meaning you won't have to ask too many questions,
