They're images on the navigation bar. If you edit the nav bar you should have options for no new messages and new messages.

Hello,

Try to add this code to your CSS Stylesheet:
Code:
ul.navlinks span.new-message {
color: #FF0000;
text-decoration:blink;
}

In the color: #FF0000, change the color you wanna change. Smile

yeah there is no way to create this for a custom nav bar.
It's something that is set up through forumotion.
Because everyone in box will be a different link, there would be no way to add this to a custom nav. I was able to figure a way for profile before, but always struck out when trying to do what your asking.

I believe this is something forumotion has in the template..Um it may be possible to find this in the template hen add in along with your custom nav if you are placing the nav in the over all template.. other then that i would have to test it and you would have to be Husein phpbb2 or punbb in order to do it that way.

info added

yeahs i see no way of doing it, everyone has a different id number in their pm links.
The only thing you can do. is set your nav bar for images only, then hide all images but the pm and new pm.

So you will be able to add what ever custom stuff you want to in the nav bar, but the PM will have to remain how it is, what i would do is create Custer images for your nav bar, then create the same style for your PM and New PM and add to your pic's management where the two images are.

<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_out -->

well no need to do it that way four register, you can just add the link in click able text or what ever for that.
I am sure if i can find it, then it will work. i will have to go through the templates again.. i think it will only be in one of three or four templates, but believe it will be something on them grounds.
