Solved Re: Help with Image Map

Post by kirk on June 29th 2011, 6:55 am

oh boy?

where to start..

Ok i tried my hardest to use your code, but no matter what i tried to do i could not get the mouse over images to work or even appear?

So then your background image is like 13x something or other and it was just taking the page out of enlightenment and had to use the bottom scroll.

So i re-sized the image a lil better to fit, but knocked it down a lil bit to?

So i amy have to do a couple more takes to get plaything as perfected as possibil, i dont know what image mapping method, program you was using, but i just did it with mouse over codes and table,

probably sounds a lil easier then what it is,

Anyway it can be something like this. i did add a lil flash to the mouse-over images but it dont have to be like that, they are actually gif but made with flash.

Oh and did you want the transparent images like the same size of what they are going over.. like the bee, have it so the mouse over image dose not appear until you hover right over top of the bee.

But this is a ruff take for now.

i think if you can make the whole background image like 1024x768 or 1152x864 then i can be sure to have it center, apparel for everyone well and would make the image a little better to see everything.

But it might have to be photoshoped again, the text is a little hard to read for me, but i think thats what you was going for?

so anyway we can try a few more times and perfect it the best i can..
but i could not do anything with the code you had to get the mouse over to work..i tried to replace it where you had your links in there but dint work.

so check this out then let me know what you want to do to try to tweak it out.

Solved Re: Help with Image Map

Post by Bpoetic on June 29th 2011, 1:29 pm

7:29am on my end:-) I'm going to work on the house this morning, but I'll be back early this afternoon. I can say the reason the pic is SOOO big is that I'd added lots of black space to the bottom to get it centered. Maybe I can remove that from the bottom, yet keep the viewable part the same??

Get back here later. THANK you for all your hard work, Kirk. No one else has even attempted this, so congratulations buddy:-)

See ya in a bit. Hope you got yourself some sleep . . .

Solved Re: Help with Image Map

Post by kirk on June 29th 2011, 2:36 pm

oh see i am getting your pic at 1360x700
http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/5655/play3d.png

so if you want it like that i can just redo it

Other then that let me know how you want me to tweak it because i will have to adjust the size of the transparent png.

i could also get your tab images to fit in the places the same size, but it makes them a lil to small
