A couple of questions I need help with!

Our forum (a sports one) has been running close to 5 months now.

We have had a huge take up in members (2600+ in 5 months) and get a good amount of visitors (400 online at one time is our record).

We envisage that this will grow and have the following questions:

Can we sell advertising space?
How do we add a advertisers banner to our home page is we can?
Can we add different ads to the subsections?
How do I accurately gauge the number of hits we receive to tell potential advertisers - I estimate we are getting 1.5 hits per month
