Is it possible to have text automatically entered into posts?

So i would like to add a html code (i think that is right) that shows a table with text in it where the user when they click new post, the html appears in text format and all they have to do is enter the values themself and hit send. Is it possible to have a single forum/topic be able to do this? I know another forum that has this, I am unsure how i would go about it, ive been searching and searching online and cant seem to find any information on how this is done.
