Menu Buttons with JavaScript?

Post by RAtSoaDM on July 16th 2011, 1:55 pm

I'm wondering if it's possible to add custom made, animated buttons to the Main menu buttons... blackeye

Of cause it is, you just need to edit the templates; I don't believe there's a way to cancel out the current nav bar Wink

Hmmm, how would I go about doing that... I can't edit the templates on phpbb3>?

With my last post, I did mean to have "On PHPBB3" at the end Embarassed

The reason for that, is because PHPBB3 doesn't have the ability to edit the templates TT
If only it did, imagine the possibilities!

Darren, for this task, it is irrelevant whether the board has templates. What was requested is whether javascript can be used to animate the navbar buttons. Well...we have a brand new feature here that allows you to create javascript files for any board type, and load the scripts on every board page.

So the answer to the question is YES, it can be done. And the procedure is the same for all board types, because the navbar is not accessible through templates.

No luck... So how would I use this code to replace the default menu buttons?

Code:
<a href="http://bootlegmatrix.netgoo.org/"target="_blank"><img src="http://i43.servimg.com/u/f43/11/53/91/56/coolte10.png" onmouseover="this.src='http://i43.servimg.com/u/f43/11/53/91/56/coolte11.png';" onmouseout="this.src='http://i43.servimg.com/u/f43/11/53/91/56/coolte10.png';" /></a>
