Affiliates Widget Question

I'm wondering how I can get my affiliates to scroll side-by-side instead of one on top of the other? This is the code I'm using (I know very close to absolutely nothing about HTML, so your help would be wonderfully appreciated!)

Why are these, <code></code>, empty?

I have no clue. I copied and pasted (more than likely making a mistake here and there)

Unfortunately, that didn't work, although it blew up the widget height wise by about 1.5x

it is scrolling .ya can reduce the height to 140 ,
