Home Page Widget

Hi guys

Is there a way to have a home page widget at the bottom of the home page? We would like one next to the 'users online' section at the bottom.

We would like to add a 'hit count' so that we know how many unique hits and visitors our site is getting.
We have one on our portal, but the only options available for the home page, is either a column on the right or left. We do not want to add any other widgets, just the 'hit count'.

Can this be done? Is there a CSS code that would enable us to change the location of a home page widget?
