Ok there is an FAQ question under Formatting and Topic types: Can I post Images?
and it says :
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

i dunno if its just outdated....but this is wrong? how can i change it? when i try to change it i go to FAQ and it only gives me the option to add a questions.

help?

EDIT:

well the part about the pictures being stored on the board...the rest is correct. or maybe i'm not getting it Confused

Hi, I think it's possible to edit the FAQ page through template editing. However, please note that you must be the founder to do this and also your forum version must be either phpBB 2 or punBB. Smile
