VIP usergroup

I wanted to create a user group for members who donate to the site and who do alot for the site, as a gaming clan i am not sure what extra things i could give them for being in the VIP section.any ideas?

Hi, those ideas are up to you. But I would possibly have the following:

- A VIP-only forum.
- Discounts at the shop (if you have one).
- A cool rank.

There's not a lot there, but then again I'm not too good with VIP ideas.

Make a forum section called: V.I.P Section! Edit the permissions so only the VIP's can access it.

What i did on my forum, was give colors to the donators, so I have a bunch of groups (VIP1, VIP2, VIP3). Each group has a different color assigned to the members.

I would not know what i would put in the vip forum section thats the problem

Well, I dunno what it's like on your forum but I've granted them the ability to change their own posts whereas the regularmembers couldn't do it.
Or maybe give them the permission to delete their own posts.
