Hi,

Are you talking about a subdomain (IE: help.forumotion.com) or a Domain (IE: forumotion.com)?
if it's the sub domain, the DataBase may just need a few days to catch up to the new change, and should drop the old link off sometime within the next 5 days. (As far as I'm aware)

You can change the name via: Admin panel >> General > Forum/configuration > Site name || As well as in General > Search engine > Site title Smile

Did you purchase a a tld domain (Domain.com), basically a domain name from anyone, or from forumotion, or have you only changed the default subdomain (test.forumotion.com) ?

During the creation process of the domain from ForuMotion (Via the admin panel) you have the option to remove the sub domain, and link it to your domain so it appears the domain is non-existent.
If you brought your domain from outside of forumotion, then unfortunately you cannot mask the sub domain.

It should be removed when you enter a new sub domain.

Hence the problem Mario, the old Subdomain is still active, and has been for several months now.... Not how it's meant to.

Are you able to pass this up please Mario?

are you sure you want to fix this by individual basis? I think it would be simpler to fix the code in your system which handles old subdomains, from what the message says when you change subdomain, it's not an expected behaviour.
Oh well.

I'm asking for your old and new sub domain, so that I can show the higher ups the issue that is being caused. Then they will be able to fix for everyone.

Create a new free Forum with the old address & it will stop redirecting. This was suggested by The GOdfather.
