Hello:

Whenever I or my members reply to a topic, an intermediate page shows up saying "Your message has been entered successfully. Click here to view your message".
This is fine when we have highspeed internet, but a few members of my forum, dont have high speed, so this is bothering them. So much that, they have either stopped posting or posts very few messages in a day.

Is there a way not to display that intermediate page, and directly show the page where they replied, (This is pretty much the standard in other forums that I visit.)

Please help.
Thanks.

Well, I don't think that this can be done. I don't use templates, but you might be able to do something about that in template editing, but I may be wrong.

There is no way of disabling it.

Thanks for replying. This is bad news for me and some of my members.
I dont understand why this intermediate page is needed. I am just wondering.

Is this the same if I pay and get my own domain?

When that page loads, there should be a link that they can press to load the next page.

This can be actually removed through lots of coding and HTML. I know because I've seen a Forumotion Invision forum be able to disable this.

He hasn't given us the tutorial though Sad

Basically it redirects to a page with PHP... I think if you had templates you could actually remove it.

To sum up all of the replies: If you have a basic knowledge in coding and template editing, it is not possible because it is very very easy to break one tiny thing and mess up the entire website. However, if you have a intermediate knowledge of coding and the template editing at Forumotion, it is possible. Otherwise, you could just ask somebody to do it for it, if they don't mind.
