Problems editing profile fields?

For some reason I can't edit users profile fields. I used to be able to two days ago, but it just doesn't me know.

My other admin can though.

How to fix?

Are you the founder? If not someone may have changed the permissions on you.

Why aren't you able to edit profile fields? Is there an error message? Please give some more information.

Yes, I am the founder.

I use a PunBB board.

Base - Nothing happens, which is the point. When I go to someones profile, I normally can change all their profile fields. However, not it won't even display the edit button. However, does for the other admin.

I see, then is it allowing you to edit profiles within the administration panel?

Yes, it does let me edit profiles in admin panel.

And you're using Google Chrome? Have you tried using Firefox? It could be a browser problem because it's working fine for me and I'm using Firefox.

Yes, I am using Google Chrome, however it doesn't work with Firefox.

It doesn't work when:

1) use chrome
2) empty cache
3) use Firefox

Is their another way to edit profiles?

Well, the only way to edit profiles would be to edit them in the admin panel then. I shall report this problem to The Godfather.

Just 2 quick troubleshooting ideas;

1) Have you tried editing a profile via a proxy, or a different location, possibly on a Mobile Device?

2) Have you recently added any scripts to the header?
Ive had a few occasions where I inserted a nicely sized JS Script to my header, both the Template, and site description (before the recent update) and I had to login via a proxy on... IE ( ) and remove it, though I could edit profiles on IE but not FF.

I have not tried the first one, but I will try it.

However, the second one could be the solution. Saxaca added lots of Javascript to my forum recently. Around the same time this happeneded.

Ive alerted Sax for you, and he's said he's corrected the issue, you just forgot to close a tag.

What tag did I forget to close? Sax couldn't of changed anything as he's not a admin, so nothing is changed as of now. However, I can add him as admin to change the tag.

Or, you could tell me what tag needs closing.

I have no idea what tag, all he said is that you forgot to add one, and I assumed it was a tag related to editing profiles, that you added.
Ill see if I can catch him online again tonight and see if he can talk to you, as I'm going offline for the weekend in a few mins... Lets hope Ebuddy doesn't stuff up lol

He can edit the script that he's hosting if your just linking to it, but I don't know your specific situation.
