note: my original request for design help was locked due "off topic" remarks side tracking my request (none made by me that werent erased...) - after asking LH Justin (forumotuion staff member who locked the thread) - how best to proceed with my request for design help, he told me it was ok to make another thread... based on his direction, I have created this post...

Size (In Pixels): 220 HIGH and 650 WIDE (approxiamytely)
With or Without Animation: Without
Main Colors: Background a light blue - same as this forum would be ok... The letters of the logo Yellow with Black trim outlining the lettering
Pictures & Links: pictures - if you could provide green grass sproutting from the bottom of some of the letters on the logo... In addition if you could make some of the letters have "injuries" (like they are "taped up" or have stitches)... as far as links go - if you could provide 2 versions of the logo - 1 with no link and another where the the link takes you to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Text to Insert: underneathe the logo pls say "The place to play FANTASY DRAFTED Online Franchise"
Font : I was messing around with a logo creator and i liked the letter styles iTEXT
Font Color: as mentioned above - i was thinking the lettering should be colored GOLD with black trim outline (if possible)
Extra Comments: the logo is only our web adress - ps3MaddenGroup.com

if you could any small features:
- perhaps have the ".com" about half the size as the letters of "ps3maddengroup"
- like a football leaning up against he logo - or in between the "n" and "g" in ps3maddengroup.com...
- possibly a tired football player leaning against 1 of the letters - the smaller ".com" letters may be ideal - maybe a fatigued football player sitting/leaning on this part of the letters...
- football equipment hanging off the letters - like a helemt hanging on a letter - maybe a "jock strap" hanging off another...
* these are just suggestions - open to any creativty that u think will make this logo be INTERESTING - UNIQUE and make us EASILY IDENTIFIABLE (this will be what represents ps3maddengroup.com from now until end of time!)

when i made the additions (football helmet and cheerleader) - the logo had a white background i couldnt erase - i would like the background to be blank...


Please know i understand this is not a proffesional design - but if it can help you in anyway see our "vision" than it has served it purpose... If you could make a better design than this - AWESOME... or i would be happy on some1 improving on this design - making the background "invisible" (as oppose to white) - maybe u can "tidy" this up a bit - and add the things we didnt do or improve on what we have made...

How is this? I know I didn't follow exactly, but I made something similar. The stitches don't look good in my opinion. I think I may need to redo them.

I like the lettering, the helmet and football on the letters is great... but the footabll player icon could be improved on - would really like the player to "be part of the sign" - have him leaning on the letters - or possibly sitting on the smaller ".com" section - the player that i have is far from ideal; but is closer to what we are looking for...

- and your right about the "stitches" - definitely could be improved on - but they are so small not sure how much detail u can really get...

- i saw some1 who made the base of the "p" become a football "leg" that was "taped up" - thats was intersting idea and had some potnetial... i think there maybe oither ways to incomporate bandages into the letters,,,

- As far as the "grass between the letters" I was thinkn something a lil more "thin" like a few blades shooting up- what you have is a lil thick....

I was looking at the football helmet - is there a way you could make it hang from 1 of the "d's" - i think that may be better spot - and that would leave the smaller ".com" letters as a natural place for the "tired football player" to lean or sit on...

Made an interesting addition to the logo but it needs some work...

- it would be great if we could make the 2 players have the exact same color uniform - that would be a big help...

- i could use help erasing the white edges around the clip art (especially around te "s"- never seem to be able to do it perfectly,,,

as i mentioned earlier - i love your football helemt - maybe you can incorprate the helmet into the logo by hanging it form 1 of the letters (possibly the top of 1 of the D's)... i realize that the text i have used may not be ideal for this - so if you think a different font style would help - GREAT and make it so! My suggestion to make the ".com" letters smaller was just to aid in the picture of haviung a player "leaning on the letters".....

If you think that other pieces of football equipment could be added - fantastic - know that i have the characters on the left, i took out the "football leaning on the letters" - there may be an oppportunity to incoporate a football leaning on 1 of the letters...

or even make some of the letters incorporated into football themes into the font design - i saw someone make the base of the "p" into a "taped up ankle" and thought that was great... or maybe u can make the circle part of the 'd' or the 'o' a football helmet... or possibly shape 1 of the letters into a cheerleader who has been manipulated into the shape of a letter...

have an extensive amount of great cartoon style "football clipart" collecte3d in my photobucket - if in anyway this is helpful to you - i would be happy to share it....

on another note - would love your thoughts on the other "logos" we have used on the websiute - perhaps u can improvbe on them - if you have the time - i would love your opinion... I would still appreaciate some help with this logo creation...

In addition i would like to have:
- logo inspired avatars...
- "signature" size logo - which is different from the logo we have created but still has the same "feel"...
- alternate logos we can use that have a similar "feel" -(in various sizes)

i love the football running into the "p" effect thats great... I LOVE HOW THE PERSON IN THE LOGO APPEARS TO BE HOLDING UP THE LOGO - THATS AWESOME!

a couple things:

- can u make the person in the picture some sort of football related player? But still keep the effect that he is holding up the logo? (Madden is a football PS3 video game - the theme of the logo has to remain football centric) - perhaps there can be some sort of football clipart where the football player is holding the logo over his head? (just a suggestion... anyway he could be holding the logo - or implemented into the logo would be great)

- I dont think the grass effect works - Unless u can make it "less" - i think just a few sprouts of grass coming up at the base of some of the letters would be fine...

- can u add ".com" at the end of our "ps3maddengroup" (we want to emphasize that this is our website - and URL)

- Can u make the phrase "The place to play Fantasy Drafted online Franchise" smaller - so that the "ps3maddengroup.com" is the center of attention
