Hi New to all this. When someone quotes a reply to a previous quote is it possible to have just the one quote show up so we dont have a list of quotes appearing in the post?

hope this makes sense

Hi,

Not really. If you don't use multiquote it should all be in one quote.

Yes, this is possible. Go to your Administration Panel, General tab, Messages & E-mails table, and click Configuration. Scroll down and you ill see an option call "Quote Limit." It will be set to 5 by default; just set it to 1 to accomplish your goal. Wink

I've set it to one and when I was there I clicked to add the multi quote button as well. the multi quote button hasn't appeared and my problem still exists with quotes

Did you hit save? Go back and check that the options you selected are still the way you set them.

Well, for the multi-quote make sure you have images set for the buttons.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the quote limit...

Can you screenshot the settings in your Administration Panel and then try to make a post with two quotes nested and screenshot that too?

First image shows the result of doing a quote on a quote, a nested quote. I would believe that the forum software should already here have removed the inner quote section. Next 2 pictures show settings in the AP -> General Admin -> messages and e-mails -> konfiguration.
