You'll have to make it an image. Save the icon and then screen cap the text and drag it where you want them to be aligned with each other. That will move the text and not the image. Unfortunately, the icon is a little too large for the text for it to just center nicely as we want it.

thnx for replying. Look closely at my image ..wht you see is that image is BELOW text..
the icon is a little too large for the text for it to just center nicely as we want it.
.doesnt matter if image is larger than text. Look & observe this

image is quite large than text but still text resides besides the image

hahahah...got it solved

didn't used the default img URL option rather used HTML in description dialog..& result is amazing

As a sidenote I also must share some tricks I played with CSS. the following code basically controls the position o the image besides forum sections...do play with it

Code:
ul.topiclist dt,ul.topiclist dd.dterm img{
   display: block;
   float: left;
   width: 60%;
   padding-left: 5px;
   padding-right: 5px;
   }

width: 60%; parameter is of utmost importance as you can modeify image size just by changing this value & don't have to resize/upload it every time. Hope you find it informative

no not in description....forget it.
Dou you want to align images besides each forum just like in screen shoots above?
then only you need to edit each forum respective description. Description accepts HTML tags thus we can insert images in description like this:
click to modify:

add html code here:

I used this code:
Code:
<p><img style="display: inline; float: left" align="left" src="http://i49.servimg.com/u/f49/15/79/08/97/notepa10.png"></p>
<p></p>
<p>Discussion relating to pre/post engineering aptitude testing: SAT/GRE/GAT/NAT...</p>

customise your image & description [Language] you might

what is your forum address Shocked besides my img too large for you
I had used this code to resize images. This gives you freedom without actually resizing image files individually. My icon size is 64by64 this code reduces the img size to 44by44 & when hovered resizes it to 64by64 giving impression of magnification
Code:
ul.topiclist.forums img{
        width:44px;
        height:44px;
        margin:2px;
    }
ul.topiclist.forums img:hover{
        width:64px;
        height:64px;
        margin:2px;
    }
