Like i was saying on live support.
It may be something off with your css.
or could be your Structure and hierarchy?

A screen shot of one of your forums would help so i can see where you have the description text placed. Not sure if you have it typed in where the a image is supposed to go, but i do not think that would affect it.. not sure.

I said a easy fix would be just to center the description text,

I will have to try a few things and see if there is a easy fix with css first.

And do you have any other kind of custom coding on your home page message, home page announcement or anything on the java pages?

How long has it been like this,

This is my current css
a[href="/search"]{
display: none;
}
a[href="/faq"]{
display: none;
}
a[href="/groups"]{
display: none;
}
a[href="/memberlist"]{
display: none;
}
a.forumtitle {
margin-left: 128px;
}
.pun table td.tcl {
height: 100px;
}
.navbar {
background-color: transparent;
clear: both;
padding: 0 10px;
}

and then everything else I haven't touched
