you can remove ads by buying the add removal in the ACP

Hi,

your forum is only free of advertising for about 30-60 days, from then, your forum receives ads, it's how forumotion stays in business, and provide free forums.
As Msedgley has said above me, you can remove them via the misc page in the admin panel, and reduce the amount of ads displayed in Admin panel > General > Forum / config.
