Groups and locking Adult content

Is there a way to create a topic in the forum with a group that can only look at the topic contents due to adult content. And how far is adult content limited if this is even possible to lock. I was worried about kids going in to seeing topics used for adult use only. How would a new group be created if this is possible?

Im preety sure adult content like words,or nudity of that sort is not allowed on Forumotion

Not necessarily all nudity or bad words but there have been some use of words and some goriness and very descriptive role play. As well as in chat there have been some not so nice words but that is a different topic. I think I found a solution to the chat words already

I have kids in my family that go into the forum and I dont want them to see some of the more adult like role playing

Any kind of sexual images, language, links, etc are not allowed. Just remember that your forum has to be family-friendly.

word censoring would be forums admins decision/option if they want to censor any or not.

That being said,This dose not mean you can have over sexual OR sexually explicit conversations,stories etc..

As far as images or video go, It wont even matter if they are nude or not, If members find it offensives and you get continuing complaints, then even girls in bikinis or persons in underwear can get a forum shut down, So i always try to tell people to keep all content on a PG-13 Rating, If it's something that would not be appropriate for a 13 year old, then you are better off not allowing it on your forum.

and then back to language, a little foul language is one thing, but you have to know how much is too much. Like i never censor any words on my forums,but other then a few words here and there thats about as far as it would go,

Other then that all you have to do is set your groups permissions for whatever forums sections you want to allow them to, if you have a certain group you do not wish to allow to certain sections then just set it in the permissions as you see fit,

But how would you create the group? For instance say there is a very detailed and graphic vampire thread. Not like tru blood graphic but like Blade graphic and i dont want my 11 year old niece to read even though there is limited language and no nudity but too much for her parents to allow her to read. I want to stop kids from seeing the content but not sure how to lock it. Am I making this even more confusing?

yeah read the thread base provided.

You will not be able to restrict individuate threads/post.
You have to set the permissions for groups and forums.

So what ever forums you have content on that you do not want certain ages then you will have to have the individual group/ or forms permissions set for them not to have access to them boards or board.
