Problem with pictures... Empty Problem with pictures...

Post by Menos September 16th 2011, 8:55 pm

I have trouble with the pictures in the posts...
I want them to be 800x600 but they come out cut...

My members say that their pictures (800x600) are cut off when the post them.. and there is still width space..

Have a look.. http://cbrxx.darkbb.com/t1896-topic

What to do?

Thank you!

They look fine to me. I think it is just there screen resolution.

Or trying going to ADMIN PANEL>GENERAL>MESSAGES AND EMAILS>CONFIGURATION

When you get there scroll down to this part

I left it blank in the beginning... so it would not resize.

When I tried 800x600... it just stopped showing the pictures!!!

It's back to "no resizing".

Any other ideas?

Could it be a CSS configuration?

I am using Image shack and photobucket...

Photobucket works fine... the problem is with Image shack...

Look at both pictures and see what I mean..

If the picture is 1200x... it resizes it to 1023x....
I don't want it to resize it!
Can that be done?

Also...
For the Administrator it is is easy to use Image shack, because he can put the picture and resize it in the forum...
Members don't have this trick... why?

The space in posts is for at least 1200x...

Why would I want to reduce that?

As I said before... if I reduce the pictures from the admin panel, it just stops showing them in the posts.

Please also answer me my other question.. Very Happy

not from there, but your admin panel -> general tab -> messages & emails -> configuration -> image resize ( set as you want it width & height px )

We are saying the same thing... I already tried it (admin panel -> general tab -> messages & emails -> configuration -> image resize) and it doesn't work.

It stops showing the pictures!

Forget about that....
Can you help me with my other question?
