1. If there any way to have a left hand nav bar on the side?
A nice one not a html modula

2. How would i make a css animation for a drop down menu?

I have the code and everything i need someone to show me a step by step for forumotion.

1) You can use forum widgets for that : https://help.forumotion.com/t22589-forum-widgets

2) The animation can be done with JavaScript, not just CSS. You can edit the overall_header template and add appropriate javascript in Admin CP > Modules > Javascript code management

2) With google you will find a lot of drop down menus. To install the menu you can use overall_header. Just put the HTML code in the template and the stylesheet in CSS Stylesheet.
