Topic Icons not working

Ive added 3 new topic icons and they show on the bottom of the forum and the side but once a new post is posted it doesnt change, why?

You can edit the post & change the topic icon.

ive tried that and it still doesnt work, or what do you mean exactly how do i do that

You need to choose the topic icons once they are added in the admin panel. I am getting confused, please post screenshots for your problem.

Not sure you are looking at the right thing.

My forum phpBB3 not phpBB2, so yours may differ slightly.

To the left & bottom of my forum. (Not topic icons but "Icons for the forum". )
