Solved Edit option

Post by Geezer October 15th 2011, 3:57 pm

My posters dont have the " Edit " option in thier posts , I fix it in the Admin Panel and it works once until you update the page then it disapears . I am the only one ( not as Adimin as a member ) who has this option . Any ideas , cheers

What is the problem? Does it disappear for you as a admin or it does not appear for any of the members?

I don't understand, the edit button works fine for me. Are you mistaking no moderation powers with no edit button? Because as an admin, you would be able to edit anyone's post whereas as a member, you would only be able to edit your own posts. Smile

I understand the powers as Admin and editing . The problem is , when the members post they cannot edit . As I have said before , myself as a member has the power to edit and as Admin , as you see by my screen shot next to " Quote " there is no " Edit " option , why ?

Geezer is saying when a member goes to a their posts, they see the Edit button, but if they reload the page, the Edit button is gone.
