Re: Adding your own adds
Hi!
To add your own advertisements, you need to firstly remove the current ads which you've done and then insert the code of your own ads on the forum somewhere. That is up to you, be it forum description, homepage message or a widget!

Hmm thanks for the swift reply, thats exactly what i want to do replace them with my own, but cant find the option anywhere.
Also sorry to be a pain but how do i add banners within the forums its just showing up as the code rather than the banner, though the banners show in preview. http://www.toughenoughpoker.org/

Re: Adding your own adds
Where exactly are you trying to add your banners and would you be able to provide me with the code(s)?

My only issue now is adding banners within the forums it show on preview but not once posted code as follows.
<!-- Affiliate Code Do NOT Modify--><a href="http://affiliates.gentingaffiliates.com/processing/clickthrgh.asp?btag=a_22341b_11237" ><img src="http://affiliates.gentingaffiliates.com/processing/impressions.asp?btag=a_22341b_11237" alt="Claim your massive $2000 bonus now!" style="border:none; width:90px; height:60px; "/></a><!-- End affiliate Code-->

Right... try using this code instead:
- Code:

Re: Adding your own adds
Well, it's a very strange code...
Is this link meant to link to anywhere? http://affiliates.gentingaffiliates.com/processing/clickthrgh.asp?btag=a_22341b_11237

@ RAtSoaDM: and where have you seen or heard this...?
@ ChrisCage: you don't pay for hosting. Forumotion is a free forum hosting service. Please answer my question in my previous post.

Re: Adding your own adds
Thank you. Then, instead of using the really long code, try adding this code to a widget:
- Code:
<a href="http://www.gettingpoker.com" ><img src="http://ecess1.cdn.continent8.com/wlgentingaffiliates/affimages/90x60gentingpoker2kwb.gif" alt="Claim your massive $2000 bonus now!" style="border:none; width:90px; height:60px; "/></a>
Re: Adding your own adds
I'm assuming the first link the long one, it has a query field which will state which 'owner' or 'user' of this ad the client has been reffered from.
Which im then PRESUMING that YOU (meaning the OP) us getting paid per click, on these ads. THEREFORE, just putting an average links is pointless... as your then not getting paid.
What i mean is, things like google adsense, things that allow you to be paid per click, need to have a query in the URL, unless it is just a link and nothing else... you won't get paid. The query, sends data to the server (the owner of the ads server) which counts your refferals, in order for you to get paid. Or even if your not getting paid... just simply to track refferals better.
