Post by sungeiroadfleamarket on October 23rd 2011, 12:12 pm

Hi,

I would like to know, being an administrator of a forum, how do I configure Roundcube Webmail on my iPhone/iPod Touch?

Any suggestions? Or is this function unavailable yet?

Regards.

whats roundcube webmail?
Is that the webmail you are offerd with your domain?
If so you would just have to go to the log in page of your webmail and log in there.. if you want to set it to your ipod, iphone or ipad, i think you have to add it to your others under your emails. like you will eee a list of the most popular, then you add yours in as a other.

As far as configuring your forumotion sites to ipod, ipad or iphone,There is nothing to configure, just go to the url and be sure you are not in classic so you can view your forum in it's regular apperence.

Hi,

Appreciate your reply.
Yes, configure it on my iPhone (not from the web browser) from the following:

Settings > Mail.. > Add Account

Here are the available options:
# Microsoft Exchange
# MobileMe
# Gmail
# Yahoo
# AOL
# Other

It requires a domain name, and I am not too sure what to indicate.

It would be your domain name.

Like what ever domain you bought through forumotion, if it's the forumotion webmail.
Like my webmail is just called webmail followd by my domain name/address.. i do not know what roundcube is, Is this what forumotion is giving you as your webmail.. I dont know if they use more then one webmail service or not.But they may for different regions/countries.

If you are really that unsure, just go to the apple help center from when you connect your device to you PC.
