In progress Section banning for specific members

Post by Strider Zero October 27th 2011, 4:59 am

Alright, so let's say I want to keep a certain member from posting in a certain section (i.e the music section). I know that I could make this whole elaborate set up by making a ton of groups specific to each section, but I'm not really willing to do this unless I absolutely have to. I want an easier way to ban just one person from posting in a specific section. Is this possible?

How do I do that? The Option doesn't show on the user's permission area.

I'm not seeing hide here. If I select members, it selects every group.

You can not ban individual members. It has to be a group.

That doesn't work. That was the first thing I tried.

Then it's as I thought. Thanks.

Hi!

As slg said, you cannot 'restrict' certain members form accessing a forum, but you can restrict groups: https://help.forumotion.com/t38399-restricted-forums

Is this solved? Smile
