Solved navbar size and replace problem

Post by Triple on October 28th 2011, 12:26 am

I'm trying to add custom navbars and when i try to add custom images in head and naigation it let me adds them but for reason when i try adding the messeges navbar image it lets me input the URL but when i submit it prompts a messege "You must provide a menu name" but the menu input is grayed out and already has a input "You have no new messeges" its like wth? duno whats wrong there.

and another problem i am experiencing is i try adding a custom image for login/logout navbar and it inputs everything right and submits but when i view it on page it dosn't resize the image border or something... because it resizes my image and shrinks it very small like the old image.

you can see it on my link:

You need to change the navbar images in image management Smile

Have you try this: ACP >> Display >> Homepage >> Headers & Navigation >> then edit all there should be a link box there ... Wink

Umm. Checking invision atm -> Will edit when checked.

Edit: Yeah it appears invision isn't working for that.

I don't know what to tell you now :/

The problem is being caused by your CSS. Every navbar image is set to 80x22 pixels. That means it won't matter WHAT you do in the ACP, the image will always be 80x22.

You need to edit your CSS and remove all those entries. Or choose a different skin from Hitskin, one that doesn't have fixed height/width images.
