Permissions for smilies

Hi all. What do you think about permissions for smilies? For example, users post similes as Topic Solved etc. Please, keep voting.

What you are talking about are called "post-icons", not smileys.

A smiley is this --->

"Post-icon" can be setted to use depending of the user rank.

I think this would be a good idea, however we should change it with a feature that will disabke smilies for specific members who abuse the smilie system.

My suggestion is - to have smilies that is avaible only for administrators or moderators. I think you understand.

My suggestion is to block this thing by getting the url of the image, or simply, the image himself.

Em... Who else, excepting to you, will use this?

I think isn't really necesary to add this feature. Does matter that your users can use, for example, the "LOL" smilie?... Or if you want to add a special smilie for your own or your staff, add in the rules "Please do not use the X smilie".
