Solved The Fonts

Post by Hobbs on November 9th 2011, 7:01 am

Sorry for the noob question, :/ but I haven't had to use the admin panel in while and I can't seem to find where I can change the overall font of the forum.

I was also wondering if I would be able to add a font of my own that can be used while posting topics. Instead of the Arial, Times New Roman, Georgia etc.

Or with CSS Stylesheet:
Code:
.postobdy{
font-family: Georgia;
font-size: 12px;
}
You can change Georgia with name of the font, and 12px with number of pixels you want. Wink

I believe that the code should be this:

Code:
.postbody{
font-family: Georgia;
font-size: 12px;
}

There was a spelling mistake in postbody. Wink

Adding more information:
Code:
.postbody{
font-family: Georgia;
font-size: 12px;
font-weight: bold;
font-style: italic;
}
font-family: Georgia; = The font will be Georgia, you can change 'Georgia' with name of your font;
font-size: 12px; = The size of the text will be 12px, you can change it;
font-weight: bold; = If you want that font will not be bold delete this line;
font-style: italic; = If you want that font will not be italic delete this line;

How do you know that it's not working for other people? Could you please provide your forum URL so that we can see this? Smile

http://gitgb.forumotion.com/ Is my forum.

I checked my forum on my friends PC and the over all font of it wasn't same as it is on mine now.

This is the font I chose: http://www.dafont.com/first-order.font

I was thinking it was because he doesn't have the same font downloaded on his PC, so it doesn't show up for him on the forum.

This how I see the letters. I'm assuming it's different for everyone else who doesn't have 'First Order'?
