Solved Remove sparkle from forum (Invision)

Post by TunerAdmin on November 14th 2011, 6:01 am

Hello again!! I have a weird request. Is there anyway that the sparkle can be removed when you hover over a link on my forum? I made the mistake of installing this new theme without actually previewing it first. I really like the layout, but little did I know that whenever you hover over a link....it sparkles... Laughing Anyway its retarded looking and was wondering if anyone could help me out? thanks in advance!

my sites url is: http://www.pontiacpeople.org/forum

and heres a pic of what im talking about:

This is what my CSS stylesheet looks like:

.post-container {margin-left:175px}
.postprofile {margin-left:-175px;width:175px}

.signature_div img {
max-width: 685px; max-height: 150px;
}

a:link,
a:visited,
a:active{

text-decoration: none;
cursor: crosshair;
}

table.ipbtable tfoot td {
background-color:#1d1d1d;
cursor: crosshair;
}

a:hover{
text-none: height: 50px;
background: url('http://i45.tinypic.com/mmx8y1.jpg');
cursor: crosshair;
}

div.maintitle .expand,div.maintitle .contract {
float: right;
width: 80px;
height: 20px;
background: url('http://i25.tinypic.com/2cmk74i.jpg') no-repeat 50% 50%;

}
div.maintitle .expand {
background: url('http://i31.tinypic.com/2ihqn2t.jpg') no-repeat 50% 50%;

}

.popupmenu li {
background-color: #1d1d1d;
cursor: crosshair;
}

.box-content {
border-bottom: transparent;
cursor: crosshair;
}
table.ipbtable tfoot td {
background-color: transparent;
cursor: crosshair;
}

.post {
border-bottom:10px solid #1d1d1d;
cursor: crosshair;
}

#submenu ul li a {
margin:0.5em 0 0.65em 0;
padding:0.5em 0 0.65em 0;
cursor: crosshair;
}

/* CURSOR CSS GENERATOR - FRIENDSTER-TWEAKERS.COM */
body { cursor:crosshair;}

a.chat-title:link {
color : yellow !important;
}

/* DIV#loader {
border: 1px solid #ccc;
width: 500px;
height: 500px;
}

/* DIV#loader.loading {
background: url(http://i961.photobucket.com/albums/ae97/52forumotion/Gambar%20Posting%20Forum/ajax-loader.gif) no-repeat center center;
}

I believe that is part of the banner. Try removing the banner and see if the sparkles is still there.

Administration Panel>>Display>Pictures & Colors>>Pics Management

Advanced Mode
General/Index Tab

Edit:
This is the image link that is the sparkle: http://i45.tinypic.com/mmx8y1.jpg

Remove this from your CSS to remove the retarded hover function:

Code:
a:hover{
text-none: height: 50px;
background: url('http://i45.tinypic.com/mmx8y1.jpg');
cursor: crosshair;
}
