Can I put a shout box on my forum ?
Yes, it is possible !

Where can I put it ?
On the homepage, the portal, or in a sub-forum’s (or a category’s) description

But what do I have to do ?
It’s easy, just go on this web site : www.myshoutbox.com , and just do as described :

First of all, clic on "join now it’s free", and fill the form, then clic on "conclude the registration", wait for the mail wich has been sent to you, get your login and password, then in "box id" type your login, in "password" type your password, and clic on "login"

Clic on shoutbox configuration and follow these instructions:

Status - active/inactive [ change ] ACTIVE
Message-Style [ change ] IF YOU WANT TO PUT THE DATE AND HOUR (OR NOT) NEXT TO THE MESSAGES
Colorset/Theme [ change ] HERE YOU CHOOSE THE COLORS
Number of messages [ change ] SETS THE NUMBER OF MESSAGES YOU WANT ON YOUR SHOUT BOX
Sort messages [ change ] New message above NEW MESSAGES ON BOTTOM
(descending)NEW MESSAGES ON TOP
Position Input Fields / Indication of Email/Homepage [ change ] CLIC ON "TOP"
Emoticons/Smiles [ change ] TO CHOOSE THE SMILIES
BoxCode [ change ] ACTIVE
HTMLIntelligence™ [ change ] ACTIVE
Max. number of signs Text line/of a message [ change ] PUT EVERYTHING ON MAXIMUM
Delete possibility of the sender ("Deletetime") [ change ] TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO DELETE THEIR MESSAGES (BUT ONLY FOR A FEW SECONDS)
IP-/Time limitation [ change ] [b]NUMBER OF SECONDS WHILE PEOPLE CAN DELETE THEIR MESSAGES
Word filter ("Badwords") [ change ] TO FILTER "BAD WORDS", TYPE THE WORDS YOU WANT TO BE FILTERED WHERE YOU SEE THE BLANK SPACE, THEY WILL BE REPLACED BY *** IN THE TEXT
Language of the Shoutbox [ change ] IN ENGLISH OF COURSE^^
Date-/Time form - Time zone adaptation [ change ] TO CHANGE THE VIEW OF THE DATE AND THE TIME

Once you have everything set up, go back to "Administration Main Menu" and clic on "Code Generator"
There you will be able to choose the height of your shoutbox, then clic on "Generate Code", a code will appear, just copy/paste it wher you want to have your shoutbox, and you can also preview you tchat.

If a member sends rude messages or adds, you can delete them by using "Edit Message" in the Main Menu
