    Hello all!


    We are happy to announce that starting from tonight we have created a new group on the support forum, the "Forumotion Officials" group.

    The members of this group all work for Forumotion. This way it will be easier for you to recognize the employees of Forumotion from the volunteers. Therefore if you have any problems that volunteers can't answer you can talk to one of them. Another reason for this new group is to simplify and clarify there roles on this forum. As a result, from now on everybody will know from the start who are the non-volunteer...

    Forumotion : a compensation for your forums.

    Dear users,

    Following the incidents that took place over the past few weeks, we have decided to give a gift to all of our users. We disabled advertising on your forums for an undetermined amount of time. Smile
    Edit : The ads have returned on October 30th.

    Then, we will doubled the default storage for the gallery from 10MB to 20MB for all forums.

    Again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the problems we have faced.

    A solution found for the servers!

    Dear users,


    We have had for some time, downtime and slowdown due mainly to a new provider for our servers. This service, that we had been advised by top IBM engineers, was meant to optimize and anticipate the traffic increase on your forums and our servers.

    We bitterly regret that provider choice which currently and after several days of research and development, was unable to provide a stable solution.
    Therefore, we decided to leave the service to join back to our previous provider. This change will take place within hours and we are confident about the result.

    We've made an update for your profiles, to make them more user-friendly, and therefore easier to edit Smile It will be effective within the next minutes!
    You can now, as an admin/mod (with proper permissions), directly browse any profile and edit it directly without going to your admin panel : simply click on the field you wish to edit, and there you go!
    Same for regular users : you can edit your own profile the same way.

    Hitskin.com update : custom CSS managed

    An update was made on Hitskin.com and on Forumotion.com: from now any theme you will use on your forum, that comes from Hitskin, will be applied with its personnalized CSS, if existant.
    No more worries displaying themes with a personnalized CSS, the display will be exactly the same on your forum than on the author's forum!
