Dear users, Forumotion has the pleasure to announce you that all beta-tests for our new update are finished. The update is now imminent! It has been thought to increase your forums traffic, by using innovating technologies. The aim is to bring you the max of visitors! We are proud to reveal some minors functionalities that will be added : A new category in your admin panel called "Forum promotion" where you will be able to invite your friends from webmails, social networks or even a direct invit from a form. You can now choose your homepage : forum index, portal, or a HTML page Auto-subscribe to a group : a member will now be able to join automatically a group, regarding the post limit fixed by the admin. Topic description display : the possibility to add a description for a topic Possibility to add directly your own Google Analytics code in the admin panel, without going through the templates. ...etc. For more details and the major functionalities, check out your forum very soon, when the update is officially launched Best, Typlo ----------------- As I've been sicked for more than a week now, I didn't have time to treat the top-featured forums last week, so here's the announcement again for people interested We are also starting a new weekly operation : Feature your forum on the support forum. Your forum will be feature in 2 different ways : - A 88x31 button or link in our "Partners" widget. - A 728x90 banner, link and forum description in our weekly announcement (that will be displayed also on our main site, and in all admin panels). These are great updates. Does it usually time a lot of time to update forums. I noticed that this topic was posted on August 27, 2009. That means it has almost been a month since it was posted.

You are right, I did not see it in the ACP either until now.

I love the sound of google analytics.
The ones that you paste via template editing and html pages don't work.

well they work but they focus only on the pages they are applied to. SO a general analytics feature will be awesome and will provide real stats, thanks.

the auto groups is also great. Now we can lock forums from leechers
"a minimum of XX posts requeired" is now automatic yeah

hmm.. good update i think.. although i was expecting a bit more given that we had last major update in october last year and since then some small updates only

hope next time there are some fuctionalities for members also~

Typlo has said there is going to be 23 for the English users...I was looking on the Romanian forum (which I think you are on too) and I have read that Lizzard has said there is more than 20 for you guys....I think it's a universal 23 new things for all language.

Sorry to be trivial. If this was posted a few days ago then there is something wrong with the site's date because on my computer it says it was posted August 27, 2009 and that is what it says on my Administration Control Panel. It also says it was posted 10:36 A.M.
