for moderators

i have 1 question for moderators on this forum
why are they moderators if they just locking the threads, and just saying that people are in wrong section?
moderators are here to moderate and move wrong-section posts into right section...

am i right?
if not i am suggesting new rank --> "I am locking this thread" people , who'll be here just to lock threads

I understand what you mean, and will try to explain you how this forum works :

First of all, you certainly know this forum isn't an ordinary forum. basically, there were Helpers and moderators (and administrators obviously). Helpers where there to help people and moderators to moderate threads. However, Helpers were also able to moderate if needed and members didn't agree, so we change the ranks to Moderator (for helpers) and Global Mod (for moderators).

So this is how this forum works, but as you can see, many questions are asked here. Member should understand that if we move a topic for one of them, we would have to do it for all of them. If we do it, rules are not respected and become pointless and thus moderators become useless (apart to send password).

I don't know if you see what I mean, when I come on this forum I always have 6-7 PMs from members who lost their passwords, so imagine if I had to move all the topics posted in wrong sections !! it would be endless ! That's why rules exist and have to be respected by everybody.

Maybe you don't agree with this system, but without it, it would be the brothel xD

Be happy they dont throw them in the trash! The forums and the descriptions of the forums are explicit enough, that posts should be put in the wrong forum.

I firmly believe if you can't post your topic in the proper forum, then it gets trashed!

it was just the word brothel, I have never seen it used like that, maybe it has another meaning.
I quite agree with what Eximma said abut posts etc; the number of people posting here the mods would have time to do nothing but move threads

In fact I'm french, so "it would be the brothel" would meen in french that "it would be the gear" (sorry, I didn't know it was not used )

In England a brothel is a place where prostitutes work. Men go there to pay for women.

That's what amuses me about this place......... English support but very poor in regards to the correct wording and communication etc.

Partly why topics remain unsolved, unanswered, locked due to misunderstanding and so on.

Quite frustrating in a way. I would of loved to of helped out in regards to supporting members but to be honest, getting support from someone that can be of help and understands what i'm typing without telling me what i have already said is a task alone.

Getting my money back....... Now thats another thing!

Oh every one speaks way better in English than I speak in any other language, I have a little Italian and even less French and Spanish.
I certainly could not answer a question in any of them, it would come out complete rubbish.
I just liked that slip, I shouldnt tease. I am lucky all my questions have been answered.

It's sure my English is poor compared to yours. it was written in my dictionnary "Brothel" for the word I was looking for... I can't guess if the translation is correct or not, and I just can "trust" it...

Now, if you're just there to critisize, have a look on everything I've posted til now...

Eximma, I think your English is better then half the english speaking members on this forum to be honest, and your French. You have learned English very well hun.

I understood exactly what you meant when you said brothel, You meant this place would be a Mad ? Crazy place.


Sad, but no matter how much we explain the what's and why's of how this forum is run though, most members just can't seem to wrap their heads around it in any language really. lol

Rules are made to be obided by and the staff is here to enforce them, End of story. Some day they'll get it. I hope.

I think you do a wonderful job, as say I would be useless if I tried to answer questions in any language other than my own. Come to think about it I am not very good answering questions in my own language.
