Avatar Control.
I noted this:https://help.forumotion.com/other-problems-f46/how-to-make-default-avatar-t65071.htm?highlight=default+avatar
I want people to always have (a set boring avatar made by the forum) as default unless they add personality to their account by changing the avatar. I used the link above and nobodys empty avatar is changing, instead they remain empty. Soooo ugly, i need this implemented.
Please help me I have no idea where to go from here.

Re: Avatar Control.
Ok well i went threw every profile, yeah 150 profiles and changed them individually 1 by 1 to have new default, took 30 minutes.
What about setting a limited Avatar size? Is possible, or can only have maximum setting?

Re: Avatar Control.
?????????????????????
Does anyone know how to do anything with avatars.
I have searched this site for hours finding none of these questions answered, maybe they need to be.
How to re-size all avatars or have a minimum image size for avatars?(considering you can make maximum but not minimum)
How to have default avatar on all the time if you do not have an avatar selected?
I've tried Default avatar and you can just simple change your avatar then delete it and you go back to having no avatar, Default avatar system seems broken.

Re: Avatar Control.
Remember the default avatar will only change for users that join after you make the setting. They won't change for old users.

Re: Avatar Control.
Yea so i read on the older posts, but when someone uploads an avatar then deletes It, they dont get defaulted to default they go to having no avatar, Is it possible to set it up so they must have an avatar.
I know this dosnt seem like a big thing but trust me its neat and apealing to guests, and we have like 150 members and only 40 or so are active. Anything i can do to make people go i like to chat here will be dug into.

Nopes, that doesn't seem possible right now. But, you can suggest it.

Ok then I'll suggest it in your suggestions forum.
Do you know how to re-size avatars automatically?
P.S.Am I wrong in saying default avatar is meant to do that?

Re: Avatar Control.
Add this to your css
That code will make all images including the warning bar or other things to resize to that if they are bigger than it.
- Code:
span.postdetails img {
max-height : 50px !important;
max-width : 50px !important;
}

Re: Avatar Control.
Thankyou for information on how to put that in CSS, I tried to change that code a bit to be min-height"ect" but the little clock and post pad that display above the post got included and I laughed. Is there no CSS for just Avatars or should i just remove the little clock and post pad and cut the corner?

Re: Avatar Control.
Which clock?
Atleast you can have a certain limit. I am sure you can adjust the 50 & 50 to something more reasonable which wont hamper other images
