Registration real problem

Look, I am very sorry for not checking all the threads about registration problems, they are just too many. Please, if anyone knows how to fix this, tell me:

Whenever anyone wants to create a new account, after filling the registration form, he receives a message "All the * fields are necessary to be filled" or something like that. I myself tried to make another registration and got the same error. All the options allow new members to register, forum is not in construction or on holiday.

Yea MrMario, My forum is completely unlocked... there are a few memebers who are having the same problem.

All these steps are completed and yet it gives the same error - as the fields are not filled, although that's not the case. Any other suggestions? What might cause this?

Aham, that's the one! Just had some problems with translating it exactly 'cuz I was not sure how to do it (I am from another country and you know how hard is exact translation). But it is exactly the same problem.

SHOOT< i get this too, i might have lost more than 10 members at least, and i have no idea, good thing my friend tried registering today.

Thank you for moving this- my problem is an existing member and all those steps are already done listed above. The system is not allowing her to log in and not allowing her to retrieve another password. This member has over 1000 posts on my forum and will not let her in. She is not banned, I am asking for help.

I'm also having this problem at my forum...already checked to make sure it allows new members, etc..everything seems fine. No idea why registeration isn't working.

Ok so if i Understand well, you have a problem with memory.

Once they hit continue and get to the page of Confirm code and Confirm password, the "system" or browser "forgets" what they entered in the last page

UNselect the "Automatic Activation"

Choose : "User"



Maybe this bug is only on automatic activation , change it to users, registrates will have to get a link in their mail inbox to click and activate their account, but maybe this will fix the "bug" of your registry problem.

the same problem with new users is happening at our forum as well. it just keeps sending me back to the first page, where we place our info
The new admin tried to register to this forum, but failed. Same problem.
And changing the activation type is not working. it does the same thing

OT question. When a user creates an account, the user get a 'personal group' and Maximum groups is 125. I've noticed that i can delete the 'personal group' for each member without it having effect on their profile (so far) Is there anyway, to turn off that option, the members dont need a 'personal group'
