Delete Allow & Other Small Problems [In Progress] Empty Delete Allow & Other Small Problems [In Progress]

As highest priority, I'd really like to know how to disallow users from deleting their own posts. As a deleted post causes some weird post ID glitch with my CSS custom reputation bar and messes everything up. Instead I have instructed mods/admins to edit the posts and move to the admin-only trashcan forum.

Next.. I see I can adjust user's "points" but when I go to modify specific users, there is no way for me to adjust their reputation. I'm trying to reset all rep to zero as the rep bar testing has completed and my forum technically isn't open yet. I don't want to have to change all the value of posts in individual forums getting repped and manually have to reset them all, if this makes any sense.

Thank you for reading.

Hi!

1. Set permissions. Administration Panel => General => Forum => Categories and forums => Perms => Delete its own messages and attachments => Members [Don't check it] and maybe other groups you have. Wink

Know anything about manipulating reputation points?

Hmm... it's not there. I can only adjust points. I need to adjust reputation points.

To adjust reputation points gained in every post, I think this will help you.

ACP>Modules>Pts and Reputation>Reputation>Reputation Management>Change the values of the reputation that can be gained from posting on the forums.>Hit Save.

Note: You cannot manipulate Repu points of a certain user (i.e. From 20 Repu pts, you will cahnge it to 20,000 Repu pts.)

I am aware of that, but it's a tedious way of trying to reset everyone's reputation after a big test thread took place for the rep system.

Speaking of which.. does anyone know how I can change the post content of "Reputation: 2,889" to a graphical bar dependent on the value of reputation the poster has?
